Located in Wettolsheim<\/strong>, in the heart of the Alsace vineyards, a few minutes from Colmar<\/strong>, the Domaine Stentz-Buecher<\/strong> embodies the excellence of Alsace's terroirs. Today run with passion by C\u00e9line and St\u00e9phane Stentz<\/strong>, this family estate offers clean, upright and precise wines, revealing the full aromatic range of Alsace grape varieties.<\/p>\n

A family heritage elevated by passion<\/h4>\n

The estate was originally a farm of 4 hectares<\/strong> taken over by C\u00e9line and St\u00e9phane's parents. True to the family spirit, they gradually developed the holding to reach today 12 hectares of vines<\/strong> certified organic since 2010<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Deeply rooted in their region, C\u00e9line and St\u00e9phane work with a single full-time employee<\/strong>, maintaining a human-scale wine culture that respects the terroir and its pace.<\/p>\n

\n

A unique terroir<\/h4>\n

The vineyards of Domaine Stentz-Buecher are planted on particularly dry hillsides<\/strong>, a geographic feature that gives the grapes a remarkable aromatic concentration.<\/p>\n

90TP5T of the vineyards are located on slopes<\/strong>, which requires exacting work but gives the wines great finesse.<\/p>\n

All Alsace grape varieties are grown there vinified on site with minimal intervention<\/strong>, from the first sorting to bottling, with particular attention to revealing the typicity of each grape variety and plot.<\/p>\n

Also discover their grand crus Hengst, Steingrubler and Pfersigberg which in Alsace are privileged terroirs where geology, climate and exposure form an exceptional harmony.<\/p>\n

Natural viticulture & controlled winemaking<\/h4>\n

The estate\u2019s organisation is designed to work the wines as naturally as possible<\/strong> :<\/p>\n

  • cellar built according to the gravity-fed<\/strong>, to limit handling of the grapes<\/li>\n
  • respectful winemaking<\/li>\n

    This approach yields wines of great clarity, of a perfect balance<\/strong> and a remarkable aromatic purity<\/strong> that faithfully reflect the Alsace terroir.<\/p>\n

    The certification ORGANIC obtained in 2010<\/strong> attests to the estate\u2019s long-standing commitment to sustainable farming.<\/p>\n

    A close-knit family team<\/h4>\n

    St\u00e9phane<\/strong>, trained in vine-growing and oenology, returned to the estate to take charge of all stages, from the vineyard to winemaking<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    C\u00e9line<\/strong>, his sister, joined him to manage administration and sales<\/strong>. Very active within the association Les Divines d\u2019Alsace<\/strong>, , which brings together women in wine and the vine, it contributes to the estate's renown and the development of its network.<\/p>\n

    A predominantly French distribution<\/h4>\n

    Today, 80\u202f% of the estate's production is intended for French customers<\/strong>, distributed between private individuals and professionals<\/strong>. The wines of the Stentz-Buecher estate are distinguished by an excellent value for money<\/strong> and great versatility at the table.<\/p>\n

    They pair perfectly with a wide range of dishes, from fish to white meats as well as cold cuts and vegetables, not forgetting matured cheeses. They can be enjoyed in any season.<\/p>\n

    A strong visual identity<\/h4>\n

    If you look closely at the labels, you will notice the emblem of the village of Wettolsheim<\/strong>, a tortoise, the symbolic animal passed down by their grandparents, representing longevity and purity<\/strong> \u2014 values that are perfectly reflected in the estate's wines.<\/p>\n
